The effects of this pandemic are far and long reaching, no doubt about that. We have all been affected in some way. With regards to travel, I don’t doubt its future will be quite different. I myself expect that I won’t be leaving Canada until well into 2021, pending the safety of travel by then. It is not for lack of wanting. It’s simply different now. However, I aim to travel within my own region, province and country, as things open up and can go safely.
Since my travel plans are localized I have decided that this will blog will adpot that focus as well. For the next while the majority of my posts will be about Canada – the areas I visit (when I do) and some of my past travels. I still plan to write and share about international places, only less frequently. I do hope this pandemic’s frenzy weakens sooner (today would be good), not later. Until then, I wish safety for everyone.
